I came across the baby peacock photo above and became lost in the colors. It’s not a new image—but for some reason I was suddenly struck by its pattern and hues. The rich colors would make such a sophisticated, modern living room. Keep the walls neutral (like a soothing mushroom gray) to let the colors pop. Take the look to a literal level and add a bold peacock canvas or a quirky paper mache accent—and, of course, a grandiose chandelier to puff up your own proverbial peacock feathers. (-Allie)
