For the past week, all I’ve done is eat out. I’m not necessarily complaining (who doesn’t love the luxury of not cooking for yourself?), but, I’m really craving a nice night in, at a proper table. One day, when I have an actual house, with an actual dining room, I’d love to sit down in a room like this one. The pastel tones manage to not overtake the space with a Magnolia cupcake-like sweetness when balanced with darker shades. Just a hint of black, as seen in the light fixture and artwork, will keep the room feeling balanced. (-Laur)
