Do you ever find yourself eying a piece of furniture while out and about and you’re just DYING to know where to find it? Well, Swatchbook to the rescue! We specialize in knowing where to find, well, anything (or at least how to find a similar look/style). I get inquiries from friends All. The. Time. asking to help them find something they spotted out on the town. The most recent came from the lovely Hilary. Hopefully I can be helpful… (-Allie)
I went to a meeting with our CEO today (yes I am important!) and this was in the waiting room…..I don’t necessarily love this table 100 percent, but I do love lucite. Where can I get something similar?? But, like, hotter. I heart lucite!!! (Hilary, New York)
Depending on the construction (and exact type of material used) lucite tables can cost a pretty penny (though they are oh-so-pretty accents to have, so I suppose it evens out). I especially LAHVE Craig VanDenBrulle’s “Clair” (above left) and The Paris Market’s “Mystique” (above right). If you’re on a tighter budget, CB2 has a great modern option, and Bellacor offers a steal of a deal on a Matthew Izzo for Umbra look-a-like.

My oh-so-lovely friend H (check out her witty-fab blog here) spotted this oh-so-insanely-ROCKIN lamp while out at happy hour the other night. She was dying to know what it is and where to find it… H, happy to help, but I warn you: Start savin’ the pennies, because the price tag on this bad boy is a doozy. (-Allie)

Warm weather has slowly (and I mean SLOOOOOWLY) made its way into the season. For the last couple months I’ve been sitting out on my patio sipping margaritas in my puffy coat and rain boots in hopes of evoking the 80-degree Gods out of hiding. Finally my hard work has paid off. And now that it’s here, I wish I had a space like this to enjoy it from. Inspired by a photo from the now-defunct Domino (sigh), here’s how you can make this stylish chaise scene your own—on a budget! (-Allie)

I was checking out my favorite fashion blog, StylePill, today and was enamored by her featured photos (from the amazing photography of The Cherry Blossom Girl). Cherry blossoms are in bloom (finally!) all over the city, and I can’t get enough of their elegant beauty. And so, of course, I had to translate them into a room… (-Allie)
