I was recently chatting “dream” decor with some girlfriends, and The Lovely Kelly was discussing her love for “western chic.” There are so many directions to go with that style, but here’s my favorite take on it. A worn dark-brown leather sofa adds the necessary rustic touch but tuft detailing keeps it from going too John Wayne. Take it to the next chic level with a bold chandelier and metallic modern wallpaper. I especially love the soothing madness of this herd-of-horses pattern (in teal on metallic). Add a dose of buffed yellow for that sun-on-the-desert-sand feel. (-Allie)
